"chicklet" -- the littlest chick

"chicklet" (chik-let) noun A very young chick, especially a very young chick. A young, very cute person who will someday become a "chick" See Abigail Conry

I think I will submit this definition to Webster's. Abby, my niece, truly is a "chicklet."

Abby works with her mom almost every Sunday at the "chick" shop, she has grown-up here with us. Well, this past Sunday she stopped by my house with her mom on the way to the shop and she looked so cute with her new haircut and freshly pedicured toenails -- yes her daddy took her to get a pedicure!! Can you believe it! I didn't have my first pedicure until I was 29 (or there abouts). She was so excited that I just had to take a picture of her toes, so I thought I would share this picture with all of you.

She was also looking for Uncle Kevin, who usually gets up early in the morning to head over to Shopper's to pick-up a box of chocolate glazed donuts. She was a little disappointed to learn that he did get up early, but he had to go into the office and work. She had to settle for a few small powdered donuts fresh from the Hostess box. After finishing her morning snack she headed off to work.

So, on Sunday morning when you call the shop you may hear "four shabby chicks" or you may hear something that sounds more like "four flabby chicks" !!!

We love you Abby!
