working hard...
Last week when Linda went to auction my mom watched the kids and I stopped by her house and picked up Abigail -- who went in to work at the shop with me.
It was kinda cold and rainy so we stopped by McDonalds on the way to get her some fries and a drink, then we spent some time opening boxes (notice how Abby is lounging on the chairs with her feet up helping me open boxes, if you look hard you can see the box with all its papers all over the floor), she was ready to leave at about 3 -- until I convinced her to walk across the street to the Leesburg Vintner to get some chocolate (she put on Grannie's raincoat :) to stay dry), I got about another hour out of her and then she was really ready to leave!

Well, Spring Break is (has been) over and we (or should I say I) are slowly getting back to normal -- believe you me, this a LONG process. What is normal? Normal is running your kids ALL OVER creation, doctor appointments, stress fractures, sick pets, soccer practice, fast food (who has time to cook!!)...
I am getting all my "chicks" in a row -- the first step is this post. Lots more to come!!

Well, the sale is behind us and we need "stuff" to fill the shop.
Linda is at auction (I have talked to her on the phone and she has sent me 2 text messages with pictures!) and she is very excited about her purchases! You will have to stop by in the next couple of days to see what she has found!

WOW!
The sale is a HUGE success -- thanks to all of our great customers! Furniture is flying out of there -- we will be re-stocking very soon. I have pictures of some new things too (some are gone already!) but I promise to post soon.

the suspense...
So sorry for the delay...but I've got to tell you it has already been a very LONNNG week (and its only Tuesday!!!). Between my daughters physical therapy, eye doctor, foot doctor, soccer, sick dog (don't even go there!), soccer, did I mention soccer? ... and our 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Sale starts this Friday!!!
I can hardly keep my eyes open so I promise to give you more information on the BIG SALE tomorrow and I also have some great new pics to show you!!

a taste of spring...
Today was BEAUTIFUL!
Linda and I were busy at the shop moving things around after a very busy weekend. We had the doors open and there was a nice breeze, visited with some customers -- I just can't wait 'til this warmer weather decides to hang around! (If you are wondering where Mom was -- well, she was watching the kids!) Hope you enjoyed your day!
One last thing before I sign off -- we just unloaded this great piece off the truck today. One of Linda's "gotta have it" finds!
