my beach cottage...

If I ever had a "beach cottage" I would purchase these things and take 'em there. I love this seashell urn and this scented seashell potpourri -- its wonderful!

If only...

Even though I was busy -- I did manage to get some pictures. Linda has been working hard moving things around and decorating! Looks good Linda!

company...

Usually when Linda comes to work on Sunday she brings Abigail -- well, when I came in to work my daughter came with me!!

This is really BIG! For those of you who know me, you know that I am a "soccer mom" -- and yesterday there was a league-wide rain-out, so I was able to go in and help out. For those of you who know Kristin, well she has a very busy social and soccer calendar (between High School soccer, travel soccer, friends, parties...to be young again!). So as I said earlier -- this is really BIG!

Well, since it was raining I guess Kristin thought we wouldn't be too busy -- wrong! I had her answering the phone, writing tickets, helping customers and even helping carry and load furniture into cars!! I think she actually enjoyed it -- now, if I could just get her to come back sometime that would be great.

the littlest tea party...

I went into work yesterday afternoon at about 3o'clock so Linda could take Abigail to a birthday party -- and I was just in time to see this little "tea party."

These girls were all dressed up and had their nails done before coming to tea -- aren't they just adorable! The girls had tea, scones, finger sandwiches and miniature cupcakes...
The "Aylesbury Tea Room" is open Thursday - Saturday from 12 noon 'til 4 pm. Aylesbury has recently been featured in the Washington Times and Loudoun Times Mirror. Click here for more information:

before...after...

Okay, I'm not sure if you have heard the news -- the "chicks" will be moving up the street and will be located right next to the Leesburg Antique Emporium on King Street. We are very excited!

In fact, we are so excited that we have already begun painting, decorating and unloading some furniture up there. Yesterday we unloaded some great new stuff (pictures to follow).

Here are some before pictures...

...and here are some after pictures. Of course there is still LOTS to do, but what a great start!

"chicklet"...

The "chicklet" came to visit with me yesterday, Linda dropped her off after school so she could go to the shop and get some work done. I stayed home to do some paperwork and get some more items online for you. We had lots of fun!

Abigail and I just love going to Bethany Beach, in fact last summer I purchased the cutest little thing to set on my desk -- I snapped a few pictures of her building miniature sandcastles with it, she had lots of fun!

Of course she also watched a movie "Aquamarine," ate lunch, had a snack, played with the pets, had a snack...you get the picture! Then she wanted to go outside and look for some of her favorite bugs (I didn't even know you could have a favorite bug!). Anyway, here she is looking.
