playing with the boys...

When I spent the day with Linda last Thursday I took some pictures of the boys (and yes we had "stinky pizza") -- aren't they cute! Abby was at school, but I got to go pick her up.

clueless about computers...

Hello out there. This is my first posting on our blog. I feel like Meg Ryan on You've Got Mail. Thats in my top five favs. I have not been very big in the computer world til now. I just got email and now I'm blogging. Can you believe it? Well, I actually went to work last night, that's right everybody I'm back! It was so much fun. Yes my work is fun. If you can believe it my mother & I were getting out Christmas and yes it is selling fast. Halloween is almost gone people so if you haven't been in you missed it.

Yvonne (my sister) posted our new charms last week and my favorite one is "the queen of shopping" it's so me! They have been selling fast so get them while they are hot. Click here to shop for charms.

Please leave me comments. I will love your feedback.

for the luxury "chick"...

These mini tiara's are just what you need -- go ahead you know you want it! Click here to buy yours.

add some color to your day...

I happened to be standing in the kitchen loading dirty dishes into the dishwasher (the usual daily routine) when I noticed just how many butterflies were fluttering about our butterfly bush on this beautiful day (say that 10 times fast!).

They are so pretty! I thought I'd share with you.

My yard is looking pretty good too -- must be the rain we just had. I can't take any of the credit for the yard (except for watering), Kevin does all of that. Here's a peek at my backyard -- thats my ol' dog Annie wandering around.

sneak peek...

Here is a sneak peek at ... Christmas!

Can you believe it!! Haven't even gotten through Halloween yet and the Christmas things are starting to arrive -- and sell! Anyway, take a peek.

"chicks" day out...

As promised here pictures of a few of the items that we found on our "chicks day out"

The long car ride was very enjoyable with the great weather we have been having! We had fun treasure hunting, finding some great things for you to see (like the cute old doll pictured above, large spool, old drawers and shutters, old screen doors and more). Our only problem was time -- not enough of it! We had to eat lunch while driving in the car!
There are more things to show you but we haven't gotten them all out yet. Check back later for more pictures.

beautiful saturday morning...

What a beautiful morning! I put on a pot of coffee and opened all the windows -- I feel like baking! Of course I really do not have time for that right now. But I do hope it stays this way for awhile longer.

I'll be spending the rest of my day on the soccer fields -- but if you happen to be out and about we (my mom) sure would love to visit with you at the shop. My mom and I had a "girls day out" yesterday, I will post more on that later. We found some really good stuff and some really good fun!

Hope you enjoy your day.

charmed, i'm sure...

We just got these new charms, and I just think they are so cute! I'm not sure which one is my favorite, but I really like the girlfriend one and the lake girl one.
Here is some information regarding these charms: Each charm is one-of-a-kind and some variation is to be expected. They are made with a silver based metal which may tarnish over time. The charms are made from vintage rescued photos and papers lost long ago. There is one for every "chick." You can wear one or layer yourself with these cute sayings. The possibilities are endless!
You can purchase these and others in our online store, click here. I have lots more to add so keep checking back!
This also brings to mind one of my favorite quotes by Erma Bombeck "In two decades I've lost 789 pounds. By all accounts I should be hanging from a charm bracelet" -- you've gotta love it!
P.S. I have added lots of new things to the online store, so if your browsing around check 'em out

happy...

I'm not sure why, but when I look at this it just makes me happy!
"say yes, dear"

some new things...

We have stuff!

...and lot of it -- there was so much that we didn't even finish unloading the truck! We finally have lots of long dressers (three in store and two on the truck). We have tall dressers and desks and nightstands, curios and corner cabinets and I'm not even sure what else. Looks like we were able to make room after all. Stop in and check it out.

told you so...

I told you we had another truck to unload! I wasn't kidding!
I don't know where in the world we are going to put it!
