i'm back...

Linda went to auction on Wednesday (for the first time since baby Michael) and this is the first of four text/picture messages that I received from her:

"I'm back!"

The last message says:

"Show Mom"

It was alot of work for her to get ready to go, lots of planning. Three of the four kids spent the night at Grannie's so she could babysit. I came over early to take Quinn to school and then picked him up so my Mom didn't have to load all those kids in the car. We all helped out -- but it was worth it! Today we will be unloading the truck with lots of new things for you. I'll try to post some pictures for you later -- Happy Friday!

quinn is thankful for...

Quinn made this Thanksgiving plate at school, it was so cute. He is thankful for Mom, Dad, Austin (his dog), Brothers & Sisters, Hermit Crab and Kyle! He was very upset that he forgot to say he was thankful for spending Tuesday nights with Grannie. How cute!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I was lucky enough to have two turkey dinners, one at my sister's (Linda) and one at my in-laws, it was nice visiting with everyone. I took some pictures at Linda's house to share with you. She did a great job -- and there was so much food!!

The children's table --definitely NOT like any kids table I ever sat at! (Just ask my cousin Christy) They used to put my cousins and I on the steps when we had family gatherings at my Nana's. Of course I wouldn't trade those memories.

We have re-done the windows at the shop and they look really good! I tried my best to get some good pictures to share with you, but the glare was just too much! So if you are driving by go extra slow and honk your horn twice -- we would love to hear from you.

I ran in to the shop yesterday to take care of a few things and it was quite busy! For the short time I was there (my Mom came in to takeover 'cause Kyle stayed home sick) we sold quite a few things.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is this week!! The preparation and planning are underway!

gone fishing...

Well, it was a short trip -- but they were gone all day Saturday.

My husband and Kyle drove down to the beach to do some fishing, but only caught four stingrays! Too bad the fishing wasn't better or they would have stayed longer. I didn't get much time for myself, but I had BIG plans if they were going to stay overnight!


Oh well, guess I'll have to save them for next time.
