Meet Sandy the squirrel -- my son Kyle found this baby squirrel stranded at our neighbors house. He is an animal lover just like his Dad. This is how we have come to inherit most of the animals in our household.
So of course he got a shoe box, rescued the squirrel and then came home and showed her to me. We decided to take her to Towne Animal Clinic, which is located right in town, because they love to help these little critters. We leave a small donation, fill out some paperwork and say goodbye (sounds like I've done this before huh -- you have no idea!!)
We know that she will be well cared for and then perhaps released back into the wild.
