I made this special box for my mom's present, it turned out really cute so I thought I'd share. There was a small photo album that I filled with pictures of the grandkids along with some other goodies and you can see that cute picture of my mom on the back of the box.

busy, busy...

We have been very busy -- getting new items in, moving things around to make more room, filling in spaces for all of the items that have sold...

We will be getting some items in from auction tomorrow or Friday, depends on when we will be able to unload the truck. I'll take some pictures soon as I can. In the meantime here are a couple of the new things.

Here is the room before...this is one of the projects that I was referring to. We removed all of the Halloween (black and white paper) wall covering, put down the new flooring and oh what a mess we had!

so tired...

Well, we did so much work on Thursday evening and Friday that I am just now able to sit down here and download some pictures for you. We made lots of changes, moved lots of really heavy stuff, hung pictures and mirrors...I may have a relapse just talking about it!

I don't know if you have every seen that movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" but it brings to mind my cousin Christy's favorite saying (in the words of Loretta Lynn and with that accent!), "I'm so tired I'm about to die" Well, it was one of those days!!

I just have to say that things change daily so you never know what you'll find! Or where you'll find it!!

Last time Mom and I spent the day shopping I came home with a few things -- wanna see?

I have always been fascinated by the Dionne Quintuplets, my Nana used to share stories about them with me when I would spend the summer with her (one of their names is Yvonne --maybe that's why I was always so fascinated). Anyway, I saw these two calendars and just had to have them.

Found these old pictures of someones camping trip -- how funny!

I also collect old miniature perfume bottles (I know what your thinking -- what don't I collect, believe me my husband is right there with you!). My Papa gave me quite a few when I would visit and I have been collecting ever since.
